Dear Blog, Today was a productive Monday, including in-service training, client contact and the usual pile of human service paperwork. Monday is always an adjustment.
As a legal advocate, licensed in Michigan for over 21 years, a licensed masters level mental health professional, and a foster parent for many years, I have been a strong advocate for the rights, assessment, and humane person-centered treatment of persons with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges, as well as other impairments.
I don't mind Mondays.
