Stress reduction techniques: 1) go for a walk, 2) lift some weights, 3) play with your grandson 4)pet the dog, 5) pet the cat, 6) call a calm friend, 7) take a deep breath, 8) take one chore at a time, 9) take a bath or shower, 10) journal or write a letter, even if you don't mail it, 11) take a deep breath, take several deep breaths without hyperventilating, 12) go out for a meal, stay home for a meal, 13) listen to talk radio, 14) watch a nature program, 15) listen to a friend who needs a calming influence.
