Kennan DeWitt, writing
I started reading Julia Cameron's, "The Right to Write"(Putnam, 1998) just for some inspiration. I enjoy writing because it keeps me grounded, in touch with my thoughts and feelings, and for the sheer recreation. I enjoy reading, writing and speaking equally, but have done very little of the first two lately. Well, there's the blog. I will keep you updated about any new found inspiration from the book. And, I will keep reading, writing and speaking.

kennan dewitt, stress reduction
Twenty minutes of exercise is an excellent way to reduce stress. Somehow those worries seem less troublesome once the heart rate increases, the blood circulates and the endorphins flow. Today I walked a forest trail, sunk my tennis shoes in the mud and crossed wooden bridges. A slight breeze landed green leaves on the trail and the sun poked through and dried the high ground mud. The trail diverted in many directions, my path dead-ended and I navigated out. Exercise definitely improves my perspective.
