A Flint woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death in June pleaded no contest Tuesday to voluntary manslaughter. Felicia K. Thornton, 47, faces an Oct. 18 sentencing before Genesee Circuit Judge Geoffrey L. Neithercut. Thornton was charged with second-degree murder in the June 3 stabbing death of her boyfriend, Anthony Holmes, 42, of Flint, at the Evergreen Regency apartments off Lippincott Boulevard. That charged carried a penalty of up to life in prison.
