A Flint man pleaded no contest to reduced charges in a 2002 murder, ending speculation that he would opt for a third trial in the slaying. Two earlier trials -- in March and October 2003 -- ended in mistrials. George W. Hodges, 25, faces a June 7 sentencing before Genesee Circuit Judge Geoffrey L. Neithercut.
