A Swartz Creek man charged with killing a Durand man in a June 2006 road rage incident has pleaded no contest to reduced charges. The case involves the June 2 death of Brian J. Bigelow, 32, that police said was tied to an incident on Seymour and Miller roads. Javan W. Stephens, 22, is to be sentenced Aug. 28 by Genesee Circuit Judge Geoffrey L. Neithercut after pleading no contest to attempted manslaughter with a motor vehicle, a 5-year felony, and attempted leaving the scene
