Police and prosecutors say Germain I. Skinner broke into a Mt. Morris Township home in 1998 and sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl. Assistant Genesee County Prosecutor Kennan M. DeWitt told jurors the girl will identify Skinner as her attacker, and forensic experts will link him to the assault through DNA.
