A Flint man pleaded guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder in the May slaying of his girlfriend after an argument. Genesee Circuit Judge Judith A. Fullerton scheduled a Dec. 11 sentencing for Willie Joe Jamerson, 45, who faces up to life in prison. He was originally charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony in the May 10 slaying of Valerie Morton, 46, who was found on her sofa at her home at 5432 Leslie Drive.
