Both sides claimed victory when a jury convicted a native of India of domestic violence against his Asian wife. Anand Iska, 37, of Grand Blanc, faces up to 93 days in jail when he is sentenced Jan. 22 by Genesee Circuit Judge Geoffrey L. Neithercut. A jury deliberated for five hours over two days before convicting Iska of a lesser charge included in the original 10-year felony of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
